LogMeIn Malicious Email Link – Account Locked

Fake emails from LogMeIn stating that the users’ accounts have been locked out are arriving in users’ Inboxes. Be advised that these are NOT from LogMeIn. The URL is to a ZIP file containing a Trojan virus.

The following text is a sample of the e-mail message that is associated with this threat outbreak:

Subject: LogMeIn Account Notification – Account locked

Message Body:

Dear LogMeIn User,

Your account has been locked due to several unsuccessful login attempts.

Event: Account locked

To:unlock your account, you will need to complete the following unlock form :

After the form has been completed, forward a scanned copy to [email protected]
